Making her breakthrough in the hit show Lincoln Heights, Micheaux worked for eight years before being featured in popular TV such as S.W.A.T, Good Trouble, In the Dark, Colony, and Animal Kingdom. She’s worked in all aspects of the acting industry, including Movies, TV, voice acting, CGI digital mapping, and commercials. She has since sought to expand her creative outlets into writing and film production.

Nicki Micheaux has been writing her entire life, spending the last decade refining her skills. She has several scripts in the works for future films and tv shows.

Micheaux has been inspired by the experiences of Black women, and all of their glory that isn’t represented enough. She hopes to bring these truths to the public eye through her art.

Micheaux’s activism is deeply rooted in her identity and experience as a Black woman. She has always been a voice for social change, non-profits since the early days of her career. She’s been an Ambassodor for Sisters on the Planet with Oxfam and currently serves as Ambassador for M.O.B.B United (Mothers of Black Boys).
